About:

Through English Olympiad, International Society for Olympiad targets to enrich and deepen a child’s appreciation for English language and its foundation. Reading Comprehension and Verbal Reasoning. English is not merely a subject but it’s a language. The whole content of the Exam is designed to focus on communication and the use of English Language and restricted to root learning and grammatical accuracy.

 

Syllabus:

There are Five Section in the Question Paper.

For Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10-

Section 1: Vocabulary

Section 2:  Grammar

Section 3:  Reading

Section 4:  Expression in Reading and Writing

Section 5: Extending your Skills

Curriculum Structure:

Class: 1 to 3

Sections-

1. Vocabulary
2. Grammar
3. Reading
4. Expression in Reading and Writing

4 sections carry 30 questions in total.

5. Extending Your Skills

This section carry 5 question

Total Duration of the Exam is 1 hour.

 

Class 4 to 10

Sections-

1. Vocabulary
2. Grammar
3. Reading
4. Expressions in Reading and Writing

These 4 sections carry 45 questions in total.

5. Extending Your Skills

This section carry 5 questions.

 

The Total Duration of the Exam is 1 hour.

 

International Society for Olympiad design the exam specifically to enforce scientific reasoning and mathematics prowess, these exams encourage the students to apply generic concepts learnt in school in a more applicative and creative manner.
