About Informatic Olympiad Qualifier
The International Olympiad in Informatics is one of the five international science Olympiads. The goal of the IOI (International Olympiad in Informatics) is to stimulate interest in informatics (computing science) and information technology and it also aims to bring together exceptionally talented pupils from various countries and to have them share scientific and cultural experiences. The International Olympiad in Informatics organized once in a year by one of the participating countries.
The tasks performed in the competition are of algorithmic nature, the participant have to show some basic Information Tech. skills as problem analysis, algorithm design and structure of data, testing and programming

Marking Scheme:
There are 6 different subtasks and score of problem depends on effectiveness of the algorithm. However, the pattern of the paper changes slightly every year.
Eligibility criteria:
An applicant should be a student who was enrolled at a school for secondary education, in the Country they are representing, during the period September to December in the year before International Olympiad in Informatics, and must be not older than 20 years on the 1 July of the year of International Olympiad in Informatics. Students who are studying abroad may represent the Country of their nationality.
Exam Dates:
The exam will be conducted from 1 September to 8 September. The host country of IOI 2018 is Japan.
