About Science Olympiad Qualifier:
Science Olympiad Qualifier (SOQ) is a UAE level science Olympiad which is conducted by International Olympiad Foundation(IOF®) annually.
Syllabus:
- General science skills
- Content Knowledge in Natural Sciences and Mathematics
- Laboratory Skills

Rules:
- You must qualify the Science Preliminary Olympiad qualifier that will be conducted during the time period of mid of October to mid of November. The Preliminary Olympiad qualifier is MCQ test. It is consist of 30 question i.e, 10 questions form each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
- The Preliminary Olympiad qualifier is held in UAE in all the Emirates.
- The Students will shortlist on the basis of the qualifier for IJSO by the International Olympiad Foundation(IOF®)
Eligibility Criteria:
- You must not be older than 15 as on 31ST December 2017, Participating candidate should be born on or after 31st Dec 2002.
- Preference would be given to senior grades over junior grades.
- The preference from high to low for selection will be as Year/Grade 11, Year/Grade 10, Year/Grade 9 and So on.
Exam Date:
Mid of October to Mid of November.
