About The Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO):
The Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPO) is a Physics competition organised by the Institute of Physics Singapore and is catered to secondary school students.
This is an annual competition to encourage the study and appreciation of Physics among all secondary school students. In addition, it is also a competition to highlight Physics talents as part of the process of identifying students for early training at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO).
Together with the Chemistry and Biology Junior Olympiads, these three competitions provided our students with opportunity to be exposed to Advance Science knowledge.

On 26 May 2017, 18 Secondary 3 and 4 students participated in the Singapore Junior Physics Olympiad (SJPhO) 2017 and achieved the following awards amongst 1700 participants:
